I believe the step the acting president took is the best why because as he resume office, he is meant to select those that will work with him not those that have been working wit Yar'adua.

I am a Cameroonian who read in UNILAG and very fun of Nigerian politics than my country. I love Nigeria more than the United States of America because i believe than is Nigeria is well governed, all economic migrants who flood Europe as slaves will go but to Nigeria and there will still be left overs. The question i want to ask is what is the meaning of a Godfather in Nigerian politics? Can or have all the successful Nigerians businessmen around the globe appoint their managers based on godfathers and succeed? Please president Jonathan, try to do something different and make us proud. Nigeria should be our own Europe or USA in Africa. Can you look at the possibility of introducing medical cards and social welfare payments in Nigeria? You can and still have surplus + surplus.

No doubt one of the world's most endowed nations, Nigeria needs leaders who will put the public good ahead of personal interest. Jonathan's words are a good signal. Let him live up to it. He must also continue to make the best choices 4 our country. He may need to consult more with stakeholders who genuinely hold the short- and long-term interests of Nigeria at heart. Well-meaning Veterans will do. And young&promising should be given opportunities to serve&make contributions

This is the right step at the right direction. All the ministers must hit the ground running! Since the PDP has shown d Ag. President that he has no political second chance with it, he should give himself completely to the Nigerian people. I'm with you, your excellency!

USAAfricaonline -For the records, Allison is not a new member of the cabinet. She has been part of it from inception in Transport and Solid Minerals.

Maybe you need to double check your records.

Odein Ajumogobia" in the Foreign Ministry is the best card of the team. Now you can expect an economy driven foreign policy not all those gibberish ( ECOMOG, AC, Big brother) slangs we are used to. Wish him the best!

I think some partnership would be worth watching (Odein + Allison + Akunyili); (Aganga + Babalola) and ( Kayode + Yar'adua).

We are watching

This is the kind of President that we need in Nigeria at this point in time. He said, 'I will hate to disappoint you but l will hate more even to disappoint the nation(Nigeria.) That is a great statement for one who has passion in the well-being of the country.
